Maya Noor Anjum is a native Michigander, who now resides in Cleveland, Ohio with her
family and chihuahua Pupinder.
Maya first became interested in the arts at a very young age, under the watch of her
grandmother who is a professional painter. She developed her skills through private
tutoring, high school art courses, and eventually in her fine arts courses in college.
Versed in tradition, customs, and ritual, she is culturally and religiously sensitive to the
needs of her clients.
In her efforts to maintain quality and safety in her art, she is certified by the ICNHA
(International Certification for Natural Henna Artists). Ingredient list can be furnished
upon request. Maya does NOT use black "henna" PPD products.
Maya only uses professional quality make-up brands such as RCMA, Cinema Secrets,
Joe Blasco, Makeup Forever, and Yaby Cosmetics.
Maya provides make-up and light hair styling for: Bridal, Beauty, Fashion, Runway,
Editorial, Male Grooming, Print Ad, Multimedia Film, Video, Commercial, and Corporate
Medium.
She is available by appointment in the greater Cleveland area. She will travel upon
